Software License Agreement

Regarding the software provided with this agreement ("Software"), this License Agreement 
with Graphtec Corporation ("Graphtec") grants you ("User") the right to use the Software
within on the basis of the following terms and such use presumes that you have also 
agreed to the following terms.

1. Copyrights
   The copyrights for the Software and any printed documentation, such as manuals,
   accompanying the Software belong to the individual or corporation indicated in 
   the Software or documentation.

2. Right of Use
   The User may use the Software on a single computer system at one time. 

3. Duplication and/or Revision
   (1) The User is permitted to make a single copy of the Software for back-up purposes. 
       In such case, the User shall indicate the rights (copyrights) attached to 
       the Software on each copy medium concerned.
   (2) The User must not alter, combine, revise, or otherwise adapt the Software in any 
       manner whatsoever, which includes reverse engineering, disassembly, and decompiling.

4. Third-Party Use
   The User may not loan, rent, lease, or transfer the Software and its license rights 
   to a third party.

5. Warranty
   (1) If the Software does not operate properly due to a physical defect in its recording 
       medium, please contact your sales representative or nearest Graphtec vendor.  
       In the case that Graphtec is responsible for the physical defect, it will replace 
       the Software at no charge. 
   (2) The replacement of Software due to a physically defective recording medium, 
       as mentioned in the preceding paragraph, is the only warranty service provided 
       by Graphtec.
   (3) Graphtec provides the Software "as is."  Graphtec and its suppliers do not guarantee 
       the possible performance and/or results obtained by the use of the Software and its
       documentation.  Moreover, Graphtec and its suppliers do not provide any guarantee, 
       explicit or implied, regarding the violation of third-party rights, the Software's 
       qualities, or its suitability for specific applications.  For whatever reason, 
       Graphtec and its suppliers shall not be held liable for incidental, derivative, 
       or special damage attributable to the Software and/or its documentation.  Even if 
       the store which sold the Software has informed the User that such damage is likely 
       to occur, Graphtec and its suppliers shall not be held liable for such damage.  
       Graphtec and its suppliers shall also not be held liable for any claim by a third 
       party to assert its rights.

Using the Software (Windows 2000 and XP only)
To install the software (USB Driver, GL500A Application Software, GL500A
Configuration Tools) contained on this CD-ROM at your computer, follow the
instructions provided in the Readme.txt file in the corresponding folder.

Accessing the User's Manuals
To access the GL500A User's Manuals, you must first install Acrobat Reader
5.0. Open the Reader folder and click on the file to open it. Follow the
instructions to install the file.
Next, double-click the User's Manuals file which is stored in the PDF
(Portable Document Format) file format supported by Acrobat. Adobe Acrobat
Reader 5.0 is booted, enabling you to view the User's Manuals.
